Evander Kane said he is unsure if he will play with the Edmonton Oilers next season.
"I thought it went really well [in Edmonton], probably even better than I expected to be honest," Kane said. "So I have nothing but good things to say on that. There's so many different variables. We just finished the season yesterday, and there's lots to sort through and figure out before I start thinking about that."

The 30-year-old forward, who signed a one-year contract with the Oilers on Jan. 27 after having his contract terminated by the San Jose Sharks, can become an unrestricted free agent on July 13.

The Dallas Stars have signed restricted free agent Denis Gurianov to a $2.9 million contract for the 2022-23 season.

General manager Jim Nill announced the forward's signing Tuesday, which was Gurianov's 25th birthday. The team's first-round choice and the 12th pick overall in the 2015 NHL draft, Gurianov had 11 goals and a career-high 20 assists in 73 regular-season games this season.
